Criminal Justice Museum

Location: (61, 209 Dynmap)

The NEC Criminal Justice Complex is a LEIGH&CO::JUSTICE facility located in New Eden City. The complex is currently under construction. As of this date, Phase 1 has been completed.

Criminal Justice Museum

The Criminal Justice Museum houses artifacts from previous crimes and other criminal happenings on the server. Today, the main exhibit is that of the Skull Cove pirates, who were found guilty in Y2S3 of crimes against LEIGH&CO.

"We are so proud to today announce the opening of one of our most cherised projects, the New Eden City Criminal Justice Museum. We have worked tirelessly over the last two years to design and construct this building. We, along with the City, invite the public to visit the museum and reflect on hour crime does not pay.

This was a challenging project for us. We were tasked to bring a fresh architectural taste to this great city while channeling the rich architectural design language already existing as a physical dialog between LEIGH&CO and the City residents. We think we have succeeded in that mission.

The building, as a strong white edifice reflects the purity and truth of LEIGH&CO, recognizing that they are a bedrock of justice. Meanwhile, the building appears to be peeling back, as if an onion, revealing another deeper meaning underneath and inviting the visitor to reflect on what justice really means to them, and how while truth can shift with time and circumstance, justice is justice.

Outside, a visitors can take in the building as well as its reflection, inviting investigation into the fact that while there are always two sides to any story, only one of them is real, and the other is just a figment of the criminal mind, shifting mirrors and illusions intended to confuse and confound and distract.

Meanwhile, the in-situ physical deconstruction of the building also brings to mind the deconstruction that LEIGH&CO will physically visit on evildoers who mean this great City and people harm. At the same time, the setting is tranquil and straightforward, conveying the honesty and simple truth which which these threats are delivered.

We are very proud of this building, and look forward to serving the needs of the community through subsequent phases of construction at the Justice Complex.
