Professor Skant

Professor Skant is a personality in an orb, and an expert (apparently) on Ythryn.

He is also an asshole, doesn't listen, and repeats things our great heroes like Saralas says like they were his own ideas.

Found in the frozen hand of a corpse on Auril's island the smoky black orb doesn't remember the journey to the island, but apparently it's previous owner was looking for the book that Baerwin the Chosen of Auril got for us before their ship wrecked and she froze to death.

Resda initially tried to name Skant "Smokey" but he hated that name because he is a stupid jerk. Resda talks him up and praises him and he praises her back and it's totally gross.
