Saralas: Session 7

• Starting in the mine again
• We meet the kobolds, who screech when they see Min
• They are hitting a dead rat making sure it is dead.
• Karthos says Hello. The kobolds take defensive posture but do not attack.
• I disappear
• I've been abducted by a tentacle monster, paralyzed. It is a Grell.
  • It's an underdark creature, from another realm
  • Solitary hunters. They attack isolated/alone creatures
• I'm stuck, the others try to fight it
• Korag blocked the pit entrance and the others hit it until it dropped me, but I'm still unable to move
• Rudra casts a spell and hits it hard, then weirdly it starts nuzzling her like it's a pet.
• We have to kill this thing, I yell.
• The damn thing is following her. We take it to the room we saw the Kobolds in.
• We hit it hard a few times and finally kill it, thank providence
• But it's offspring floated in as well. Resda seems conflicted. Why the fuck is she conflicted? It's a fucking monster!
• We know what happened to that kobold.
• We beat the thing to death. Good. I cannot believe these people felt bad for this monster.
• I am satisfied with this outcome. The miners won't be hunted by this thing.
• We head north and west and head down the stairs to the next level
• We meet some Kobolds. One carries a satchel and has some wooden wings and speaks common.
• Min wants the wings, and convinces that one to give them up.
• The Kobolds seem to want to work, they keep claiming to know how to mine and want us to convince the town to share with them. Trex is eloquent and holds himself tall, entirely unlike any Kobold I've ever heard of.
