- We are in Good Mead talking with Wodna
- I tell Wodna the story, eventually producing the map she gave us previously. She seems to believe us, reluctantly
- She tells us that prototypes of devices like Elodie found do exist, but almost no one knows about
- She agrees to keep an eye out on the weather
- We talk about the dragon, and Sunblight, and black ice
- We discuss the cultists and Deurgar. Resda mentions that there is something frozen in the glacier that could help the cultists.
- "How much do you know about Netheril?"
- We describe the small things we have learned. She confirms the story/legend about
- Cities flew with machines, mythallar, powered by an enormous crystal of black ice, larger than anything we have seen, larger than the dragon.
- I ask if she knows any artificers who could fix a magical object. She lets us know she already found it, had it fixed, and sold its effects to Nimsy in Lonelywood, who is very appreciative.
- The others tell the story about the underdark, Drow, the plan to attack on the 12th
- When Sunblight first appeared on the surface he already had a lot of Black Ice and wouldn't tell her where he got it from
- She hopes one of his sons does a coup and takes over
- She wonders if he got his initial black ice from the Drow
- We discuss the cultists, the red wizard, she asks why we don't just get the book
- Resda asks if there is any way to get info about Revel's End
- "The Lords Alliance" she says
- Resda looks at Baerwin. "Didn't you say he looked like something from the Lord's Alliance?" "He has the look"
- We discuss what to do, what our priorities are. We think Sunblight probably, then maybe the Cultists. Then maybe the winter. I still think we should smack the god down.
- She had heard the frost giants had a powerful weapon that had been lost in icewind dale
- We talk about the Speaker election. Wodna wants to be speaker
- She is not interested in sustainable logging
- Baerwin wants Wodna to leave the 10 towns alone and argues about Speakership. She touches Resda and they both disappear. She comes back
- I sigh
- "Please bring her back". She's made her point
- Baerwin can't get over this. He walks out
- "Do you trust him? I think he's a spy for the Lord's Alliance" she says
- She says she wants to be on the council and raise an army to help protect the 10 towns.
- We talk about maybe getting a message to the Drow that they've been clocked. Wodna thinks she might be able to get a message to them.
- Wodna reveals that the Speaker of Targos is in Zhentarim, an evil organization
- She ropes us into endorsing us for Speaker. She will work to raise an army to help with sunblight.
- She will also try to get a message to the Drow
- She says to put in the message to move the attack up for the number of days of the members of our party (move up to the 7th of Elient)
- The leaders of the Frost Giants, Jarls, would meet at a place, where their thrones were in a circle.
- Maybe go after that location, maybe stop in Easthaven on the way?
- It's late in the evening, so we elect to stay in Town and leave the next. Korag writes the letter to the Drow.
- We get permission to stay in the brewery
- The party thinks it would be good to head to Easthaven first and ask for direction about the rumor.
